This layer represents the Caucasus Ecoregion Forest Cover derived from BaseVue 2013 (raster layer downloaded, merged, clipped to WWF Caucasus Ecoregion and converted into vector format, forest cover extracted). BaseVue 2013 (accessible from ESRI Living Atlas at http://goto.arcgisonline.com/landscape6/World_Land_Cover_30m_BaseVue_2013) is a global, land use / land cover (LULC) product developed by MDA (US), derived from roughly 9,200 Landsat 8 images, 30m spatial resolution. The capture dates for the Landsat 8 imagery range from April 11, 2013 to June 29, 2014.
